As the year starts to wind down it’s time to reflect back on the year and take a good look at ourselves as business leaders.

It’s an opportunity for us to evaluate what we’ve achieved this year and identify what we’re going to do differently in 2012 to make it an even better year!

I don’t know if this resonates with you, but I find that when I think about wanting things to be better I often fall into a ‘problem solving’ mode?!  It seems so logical, productive and functional to go straight into that mode.

_Praise may seem to some people to be a little unnecessary.

After all people should do what they are supposed to do. They are being paid to do a job, they should help in the home, or share family responsibilities.  But most people thrive on being praised.  Something that can be given so easily can make all the difference to a persons motivation levels, confidence and job satisfaction.
