How often do you see people focusing on what's gone wrong rather than what actually went right?  We are a nation of self-critics, always looking at our failings and imperfections.

Our negative self-reflective behaviour often transcends and we focus negatively on the actions of others rather than appreciating the greatness that they may have actually brought to the situation!

It doesn’t matter where you come from in life, where you are going or how you get there. You are in charge of your own destiny, only you can decide what you want to accomplish and what kind of a person you want to be. I'm a big believer that those who achieve great things in life are invariably those who give a lot of thought to their own growth and put in the effort to achieve it too! People become exceptional by design, not by accident.

Wine or Chocolates? Work or Play? We make many quick decisions unconsciously every single day; others we deliberate over in agony, often putting ourselves first without giving any real thought to others!  We choose actions and form opinions via our mental processes which are influenced by biases, reason, emotions, expectations and memories.  You could question whether we really even have free will or is it well within our power to make choices that lead to greater well-being?

YOUR organisations culture can differentiate you from your competitors.  It helps you attract the BEST employees, retain them longer and most importantly, it drives performance!

Do you have an organisation of individuals who do good work because they are talented?  Or, are you successful because your employees will settle for absolutely nothing but the best?

Have you noticed that today’s society is riddled with negativity?   Maybe it’s like this for every generation, but some of the workplaces that I work in are like negativity camps.  Outside of work, conversations are in the main dominated by pessimism (or maybe I’m just being negative!).

In my coaching role I’m constantly working with clients to turn negatives into positives.
