Understanding Differences...
The ability to see things from the point of view of another is a key managerial skill in understanding people, and is important to communication and feedback processes in relationships, negotiation and interviewing, as well as to your own self-awareness. The aim of this bite size session is to understand how differences can be used to build and experience different perspectives of a situation whilst raising self awareness. This session is underpinned by the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Describe the different preference pairs within the MBTI framework
- Describe your own 'best fit' type
- Identify ways to work positively with differences within the workplace
- Have greater confidence in giving feedback to others
